Milan, March 15, 2002 - Wireless Solutions S.p.A., (Gruppo Dada) one of Europe's leading wireless application service providers, will be present at CTIA Wireless 2002, the biggest U.S. telecommunications exhibition, to take place in Orlando (Florida) on March 18-19.

At CTIA Wireless Solutions will be presenting its "Instant Messaging Gateway", a Mobile Instant Messaging platform developed jointly with the U.S. company Odigo Inc. The service allows bi-directional, secure transmission of messages between the carriers' SMS (Short Message Service) network and popular IM providers such as MSN, Yahoo!, AOL, ICQ and Odigo's IM network.
The new service will enable users to receive and send messages securely to and from mobile devices-using Odigo's IM service and the leading Instant Messaging networks-via Wireless Solutions' IM SMS Gateway.

Behind Wireless Solutions' strategy, majority controlled by Internet company DADA, is the desire to break into North American and Latin American markets to exploit the growing expansion of GSM operators.

"Till today our reference market has been Europe and our recent showing at the GSM WORLD Congress in Cannes gave us ample demonstration of the interest on the part of European operators in our Mobile Instant Messaging platform," said Marco Argenti, CEO of Wireless Solutions S.p.A and Wireless Vice President, DADA S.p.A. "In the meantime we are focussing our efforts in the medium term toward the American markets in view of the growing interest of U.S. operators in GSM/GPRS/EDGE standards and related value-added services."
